Frequently Asked Questions
Can international students work while studying in the UK?
Yes. Most international students on a Student Visa can work up to 20 hours per week during term time and full-time during holidays. This can help offset living costs.
Are there scholarships available for international students?
Yes. Many UK universities offer merit-based scholarships for international students ranging from £1,000 to £4,000 per year. We identify and help you apply for available scholarships at partner universities.
Do I need IELTS to study in the UK?
Most universities require IELTS 6.0–6.5 overall (with minimum 5.5 in each band) for undergraduate entry, and 6.5 for postgraduate. Some universities also accept OIETC, PTE, or Duolingo scores.
How much do I need to show in my bank for a Student Visa?
For a Student Visa, you need to show 28 consecutive days of funds: your full tuition fees for year one plus either £1,334/month (inside London) or £1,023/month (outside London) for up to 9 months.
How long does the application process take?
Typically 4–12 weeks from initial enquiry to receiving your CAS number, after which you can apply for your visa. We manage the entire process to minimise delays.
